We pulled out all the stops tonight for a kill on Siegecrafter. We only really have one thing to say: fuck that guy.
We’re looking forward to repeating that. Ya.
We killed Thok the Bloodthirsty tonight on our 24th attempt. We thought it would be harder than Spoils of Orgrimmar, but it’s definitely not. With enough planning and preparation, I expect it is a pushover for most guilds.
On this kill it felt like it was about time to strike a pose for a screenshot. Well done everybody!
We killed Malkorok a few weeks ago. Pretty simple in relfection, other than the odd random issue with absorbing pools.
Yesterday we finally worked out how to do Spoils effectively. Let me just note that this type of fight, where you are basically running two 5 man groups, is not fun as a 10 man group. It divides people and causes no-end of arguments, with little in the way of evidence for either side to analyse and help each other. Shame on you, Blizzard.
Thok next; we discovered we have a setup which makes him near impossible at this time. Great!
We killed General Nazgrim a few weeks ago, without too much trouble. He was actually pretty easy, using only 7 attempts to get him down. I’m pretty sure he’s one to cheese with obscure groups to get him down stupidly quick, but we’ll see about that.
Next on the list was Dark Shaman when we revisited them in the following week, proving slightly more difficult with some very annoying pathing bugs for the blobs and bosses themselves. Being the ball in a game of teleport-tennis was not fun, but working around what we could guess to be the issues was relatively easy, and they were soon down.
We’ve already had a few attempts on Malkorok in the previous lockout, and we feel we’re pretty much there already on tactics. Once we get the execution right (and don’t lag) I expect this to be downed pretty soon, which means Spoils of Pandaria would be our next target. Looks fun!
