We thought we would have a crack at Jin’rokh Heroic last night; after figuring some stuff out we managed to pull it together for the kill.
We’re not sure what’s next on the list yet. Tortos appears to be a joke, and Ji-kun looks like easy money too. But for the moment we’re happy we have this first one down to help pave the way for the others!
We defeated Lei Shen on Sunday with a chunk of help from alts and ex. raiders in Dubious who filled our free spots.
With this kill we gained rank 10 on Jaedenar, and opening up heroic modes for when we have the time to invest in them. We’re still filling our raid team up, so we’re not quite ready for our regular schedule of Wednesdays and Sundays, but when we are I’m sure you’ll see a few posts here and there with our success stories and other things.
Thanks again to Dubious for the help and support they’ve given us!
We’re currently recruiting for a few slots:
We had a windfall of success on Wednesday where we stepped into Heart of Fear and found things were simply working as intended from the start. Imperial Vizier Zor’lok is one of those bosses where you really want to know why people are dying but you’re so spread out or dealing with your own crap to help them. Attenuation has always been a fun mechanic, but put the thought of doing anything but surviving to the back of your mind and you can breeze through it so easily – I think this is where we finally got it right (except the huge boom of deaths right at the end).
After a tense Blade Lord Ta’yak kill (heightened by nerves from Zor’lok) we scooted over to Garalon and managed to take it down in the third pull of the night. Normally I would say that’s impressive, but he’s so easy it feels shameful to do it more than the first pull – perfectionists are never happy.
Overall a good day of raiding, and there’s still 2 raid days left in the week for us to make some headway on more bosses!
The floor was his enemy!
We were so close to killing Will of the Emperor Heroic on Thursday that we scrambled ourselves into another night’s raid last night to finally net the kill on Heroic Will of the Emperor.
Everyone involved in this tier so far has something to be proud of with our latest kill. From the first Stone Guards, Saturday Feng and Gara’jal kills, then bashing our heads against the wall with Spirit Kings; it all worked out in the end. And the progress since we pulled ourselves back together has been very fun and amazingly quick work from everyone involved!
Will of the Horde!
